Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) applies to services provided through the Shishu Maapan application for mobile and handheld devices (“Application”). By accessing the Application, jointly managed by the government entity adopting this application and Wadhwani AI, you agree to be bound by this Policy.

1. Intended Users

The Application is designed for frontline health workers (FLWs) such as ASHAs, ANMs, and CHOs for monitoring newborn growth metrics.

2. Information We Collect and How

• User Data: Name, User ID, facility details, GPS location, app usage logs.
• Beneficiary Data: Newborn details, measurements, videos, metadata.
• Collection Method: Data is entered manually by FLWs; videos are securely uploaded.

3. Use of Information

• For accurate anthropometric measurements using AI.
• To assist FLWs in newborn growth monitoring.
• For public health program improvements.

4. Data Retention

User data is retained for up to 1 year after account closure. Videos are retained for up to 3 years, and measurements for up to 5 years.

5. Data Security

Data is encrypted during transmission and storage. Only authorized personnel have access.

6. Your Rights

• Access: Request your personal data.
• Correction: Update incorrect information.
• Deletion: Request data deletion by emailing querymnch@wadhwaniai.org.

7. Data Sharing

Data may be shared with government entities, researchers, and legal authorities if required by law.

9. Amendments

This Policy may be updated, and updates will be communicated through the Application.
